English Classes                                                      

Adult classes: We offer weekly language classes on various days of the week. Classes are offered in an informal setting at the JAS Office and at the Atago Community Center. Learning is self-paced and textbooks are not required. Class terms are several weeks in length, and weekly attendance provides a good opportunity to make friends while you learn a new language. In order to offset instruction costs, classes are offered for a small fee.

JAS instructors are not full time teachers. English Conversation classes are taught by native English speakers, usually after their regular work day.

Japanese Classes:
A Japanese class is being offered on Thursday from 1800 to 1930. If you are interested, please contact the JAS office. Japanese language instructors are bi-lingual native Japanese speakers from the local area.

*First class is FREE. Call the JAS Office for more information.

*Price is 2000 yen for each month.
