The General Membership meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on January 15, 2008 at Atago Community Center. At this meeting the member swill affirm the appointment of the President who will be elected by the existing Board of Directors. The Vice-President is to be from the Japanese side and is elected by the general membership. The remaining members of the Board will consist of one American and one Japanese person for each office and Committee Chair as follows Officers: Coordinator, Secretary and Treasure Committee Chairs:: Culture, Education, Social and Membership If you would be interested in serving on the JAS Board of Directors please contact the office by phone or email.
